NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a suspected purse-snatcher who sent a woman down a flight of stairs at a Bronx building Monday afternoon.
Just before 1 p.m. a 69-year-old woman was walking up stairs in Longwood, when she was approached from behind by the suspect, who forcibly grabbed her purse, which caused her to fall down the stairs, officials said.
EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln where she was admitted to be treated for her injuries.
