NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A woman was hurled to the ground in the Bronx by three teens who snatched her purse and used her credit cards to go on a spending spree, police said Wednesday as they released an image of the suspects.

The victim was walking at Decatur Avenue and Bedford Park Boulevard in the Bedford Park section on Sunday morning when the trio of males targeted her around 10:45 a.m.

They grabbed her purse, causing her to tumble to the ground, according to police, who said she suffered minor injuries in the fall.

The purse contained $101 in cash and credit cards, which were later used to make purchases at various stores, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
