NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A jogger was punched at Manhattan’s Hudson River Park by a man who hurled an anti-LGBTQ slur at her, police said Thursday as they searched for her attacker.

The NYPD released images of the shirtless suspect, who’s believed to be about 30 years old, following Monday morning’s attack in the West Village.

The 52-year-old victim was jogging outside Pier 40 at West Houston Street at 8:30 a.m. when the man made an anti-LGBTQ remark to her, police said.

He then punched her in the face, causing her to fall to the ground, according to police.

She suffered minor lacerations to her face, right knee and left hand in the fall.

The suspect was last seen fleeing northbound on West Street, police said.
