Woman stabbed in Queens sex assault; suspect sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A woman was hospitalized after she was stabbed and sexually assaulted in Queens last Friday, police said Tuesday as they released video of a man they're searching for in the horrific attack.

The 40-year-old woman was approached by the man just after 10 p.m. behind a building on 153rd Street, near 107th Avenue, in Jamaica.

Police said the man came up and stabbed the woman in the chest.

He then forced her to perform a sexual act, according to police.

The woman was transported in stable condition to Jamaica Hospital.

Police released video that they said shows the suspect before and after the incident.
