NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A knife-wielding worker stabbed two men, one of them to death, during an altercation at a fish market in Upper Manhattan on Tuesday night, police said.
The 34-year-old worker was taken into custody after the stabbing at Fish Express on St. Nicholas Place in Sugar Hill, according to police.
Police said it all started when the two men, ages 25 and 29, came into the business 9:45 p.m. and got into an unknown dispute with employees.
The men “began acting disorderly,” and one of the workers pulled out a knife and stabbed both of them, police said.
The men each suffered stab wounds to their torso and were rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where the 25-year-old man died.
The 29-year-old man was in stable condition Wednesday.
It wasn't immediately clear if any of the workers were injured in the confrontation.
A knife was recovered at the scene after the stabbing, police said.
Charges against the worker are pending, according to police.
