WESTBURY, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A Nassau County mother was arrested after her toddler was found alone at a park Saturday night, police said.
Responding officers found the 2-year-old partially clothed at Martin Bunky Reid Park, located at 975 Railroad Ave. in Westbury.
After an extensive search, police found the boy's 36-year-old mother, Marie Desrosiers, in New Cassel. She was placed under arrest without incident.
The boy was released into the custody of his father.
Desrosiers is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, police said.
