NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- There's more bad news for disgraced newsman Chris Cuomo.

Just hours after CNN president Jeff Zucker told employees at a town hall that the network's former star anchor would not receive severance pay following his firing Saturday, HarperCollins' Custom House imprint announced it had ceased plans to publish Cuomo's upcoming book "Deep Denial."

“I can confirm that we don’t intend to publish the book,” spokeswoman Kelly Rudolph said, without elaborating what prompted the decision.

“Deep Denial,” was initially slated to be released in fall 2022.

The book has also been removed from Amazon.

The book was described as "a provocative analysis of the harsh truths that the pandemic and Trump years have exposed about America – about our strength and our character – and a roadmap of the work needed to make our ideals match reality."
