PLAINVIEW, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A Queens man has been charged after he allegedly stabbed his coworker in the parking lot of a Nassau County warehouse on Monday night.

According to police, officers responded to a 911 call for a man who had been stabbed in the Plainview parking lot along Express Street near Executive Drive.

Cops located a 42-year-old man who "suffered a severe laceration to his abdomen." He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Ruqiang Xu, 53, was determined to be responsible for the incident. He was arrested at the scene and charged with first-degree assault.

He was due to be arraigned on Tuesday in the First District Court in Hempstead, authorities said.

It was not immediately known what led to the dispute.
