MANHASSET, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — Two women and a man stole more than $24,000 in bags from a Versace store on Long Island on Tuesday, police said.
The theft happened at the Americana Manhasset mall around 3:48 p.m., when the trio took several bags and left without paying, according to the police.
The group then proceeded through the Northern Boulevard parking lot towards Searingtown Road in an eastbound 2019 Nissan Altima registered in New Jersey.
The man wore black pants, sneakers and a grey sweatshirt. One of the women had on a jean jacket, a gray hat, black pants and a shirt. The second woman was wearing rain boots and a long, black winter jacket.
