MEDFORD, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — An 8-year-old girl last seen visiting her mother at a Long Island motel has been reported missing, police said Monday.
Suffolk County police said Toni Simmons was last seen with her biological mother, Carrie Walker, who was visiting from Florida, at the Comfort Inn on Route 112 on Saturday.
When Simmons’ father attempted to pick up the child on Sunday, she and her mother were not at the hotel.
Toni, who lives with her father in Brookhaven, is 4-foot-6-inches tall, weighs about 70 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.
Walker, 31, fled the hotel in a black 2021 Jeep Compass with Alabama plate number 48A14NB, police said.
