
JERSEY CITY, N.J. (1010 WINS) — An 11-year-old boy was critically injured and a woman was hurt in an apparent domestic stabbing Sunday in Jersey City, city officials said.
The victim was stabbed multiple times during the 11:40 p.m. incident on Randolph Avenue and was taken to a local hospital.
The woman's injuries are not considered life-threatening, Jersey City spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione told NJ.com.
A man was arrested Monday and charged with weapons and assault offenses.
The relationship between the suspect and the victims wasn't immediately clear.
In accordance with police procedure on potential domestic violence cases, their names have not been made public.
