The Atlanta Braves acquired first baseman Matt Olson in a trade with the Oakland A's back in early March.

A day later, the Braves would solidify Olson as their first baseman of the future signing him to an eight-year, $168 million contract that runs through the 2029 season. He replaces longtime Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman.

Olsen is a two-time Gold Glove winner, with a .252 batting average, 142 home runs and an .859 OPS over his six-year career.

What does a successful season look like for Olson as a member of the Braves?

Andy:

"People are going to talk about Freddie (Freeman), but limit the Freddie stuff. That means get off to a good start; that means be consistent; that means hit with power."

"I'm going to go 80 extra-base hits because he had 75 last year, and that's in Oakland. This is a much more left-hand hitter friendly park. He's going to be sandwiched between (Ronald) Acuña and Austin Riley for the majority of the season; Matt Olson's going to get pitches to hit."

Randy:

"My expectations--I'm looking at 35 (homers), 110 (RBI). I think he has the capability to do it. ...He's got some dudes hitting in front of him and behind him (in Atlanta)."
