The Atlanta Hawks dropped Game One to the Miami Heat by 24 points and it was clear that Miami had a defensive game-plan to limit Trae Young, and it worked as they held Trae to just 8 points and 4 assists.

Atlanta Hawks General Manager Travis Schlenk feels that the Heat's defensive plans to slow down Trae Young could actually work in the Hawks favor in Game 2.

"They clearly wanted to send a message, had a plan with Trae, wanted to be physical with him, so being able to move the ball is going to be extremely important," says Hawks GM Schlenk. "If we try to iso against these guys it's going to be a real long night."

"If he's (Trae's) getting trapped 40 feet from the goal he's done his job," continues Schlenk. "Any time a team commits two defenders, that's the ultimate sign of respect. He's got to give it up to his teammates and then we attack, we're at an advantage of 4 on 3. He's got to give it up and let his teammates make plays."
