One additional player for the Tennessee Titans has tested positive for coronavirus, bringing the team’s total to nine, four players, 5 staff members.
According to the NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, all other tests taken Tuesday came back negative in the organization as well as in the Minnesota Vikings organization, the team the Titans played on Sunday.
Starting defensive tackle DaQuan Jones, long snapper Beau Brinkley and tight end Tommy Hudson were all on the Titans COVID list on Tuesday.
While that’s relatively good news for the Titans, their practice facility remains closed until Saturday and additional testing will be important because of the time it sometimes takes COVID to affect a person.
As of now, the Steelers are set to take on the Titans Monday at 1 p.m.
While that is the plan, other scenarios have been reportedly discusses including moving the game to Monday night or shuffling some games around so the Steelers could play the Titans during Tennessee’s bye week.
