PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – There would be a time where you couldn’t fathom trading a player to Washington. Friday the Pens did it for the second time this season.
Pens send forward Anthony Beauvillier to the Caps for a second-round pick. In 63 games this year, the 27-year-old left-winger had 13 goals and seven assists. The goals are the most he’s had since the 15 in the 2020-21 season with the Islanders. Washington will be the sixth team in his nine-year career. He’s on an expiring contract worth $1.25 million.
The NHL trade deadline is Friday at 3p.
