Say what you want about Mark Cuban, but you will never be able to claim he isn't an extremely generous person.

The Mavericks were fined at the end of the season after the NBA determined they sat multiple players during their final two games in order to secure a better selection in the upcoming NBA Draft.

Joe Dumars, NBA Executive Vice President and Head of Basketball Operations, said in a statement, "The Dallas Mavericks' decision to restrict key players from fully participating in an elimination game last Friday against Chicago undermined the integrity of our sport.

"The Mavericks' actions failed our fans and our league."

According to Sports Illustrated, Cuban plans to match the fine issued by the NBA, and donate $750,000 to an unspecified charity.

Cuban is no stranger to paying hefty fines.

He was fined $600,000 in 2018 after admitting on Julius Erving's podcast that he wanted the Mavericks to lose games during the 2017-18 season to boost the team's chances of landing a higher draft pick.

According to Bleacher Report, Cuban is responsible for 10% of the total dollar amount of fines in the NBA since 2000.
