A pair of roommates in Florida are facing felony charges stemming from an incident between the two and a male victim.

29-year-old Sarah Franks and 27-year-old Kaitlin O'Donovan began arguing with the man at his residence at around 3 a.m. this past Sunday and it escalated into a full-on assault...with glitter.

The roommates approached the man as he was standing on his ground-level fenced balcony when the argument between the three began. Police aren't sure what the argument was about, but it devolved into Franks and O'Donovan throwing glitter on the man!

Franks then hopped his balcony fence, and continued to assault the victim with glitter. Franks then unlocked the apartment door letting O'Donovan in, where the pair continued to throw canisters of glitter at the man.

Upon completion of the glitter bombing, Franks proceeded to kick a window in the apartment until it broke, upon which the pair exited the residence and headed back to their own apartment a couple of miles away.

The victim was able to identify the assailants to the police though, and the pair were arrested about an hour after the assault. According to the Smoking Gun, the suspects' car was "still warm to the touch and glitter was observed on the inside of the vehicle."

For their glitter bombing, Franks and O'Donovan are facing FELONY charges of burglary with assault or battery, and Franks was also charged with criminal mischief for allegedly breaking the victim's window!

Franks bonded out of the jail Monday morning after posting $75,250 bond, though O'Donovan remains in custody at the Pinellas County lockup. A judge has ordered both women to have no contact with the victim.
