Pilot hospitalized after Greenville plane crash

The pilot of a single engine plane that crashed at an Upstate airport was hospitalized, Thursday. The single engine aircraft crashed around 330 PM and landed in a field just north of the runway.

The Greenville Police Department says the plane's lone engine lost power during takeoff causing the crash. The pilot was injured and was taken to a hospital.

There's been no update on his condition. The FAA is investigating the incident.
