
A fatal shooting in the Upstate last month has been ruled self defense. The Union Police Department says the shooting happened behind Buddy's Corner Store on South Pinckney Street, the evening of August 18th.
Upon arrival, police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Union Hospital where he later died. The deceased has been identified as 29 year old, Leshaun Dunn.
SLED was brought into investigate the shooting. They determined that the shooting was done in self defense as Dunn fired at a group of people who then fired back. Officials say no charged will be filed.
