There’s not much Trisha Ruiz loves more than Whataburger... and her chickens.
In fact she calls herself the “Krazy Funky Chicken Lady” and has her very own chicken coop inspired by her favorite restaurant, Whataburger of course.
"I told my husband when we moved out here, I couldn’t walk to whataburger, and he said I’ll build you one," Ruiz says.
Trisha is the mom to more than a dozen birds with some very creative names - Mashed Potato, Meatloaf, Moo, Tater Tot, Greasy Grizz, Bluebell, Frankie, Fiona, Chewbacca, Snoop, The Boss, Kirby, Petunia, Daisy and Daffodil.
Her husband built the custom coop for the chicks to perch and socialize and a separate area for them to lay eggs. But Trisha says she really just loves how cute they are and how the coop makes her feel a little closer to her favorite grub.
