Pretty soon at Dallas Love Field, you’ll have no need to worry about fumbling around your luggage looking for your wallet to pull out your ID.
The airport will soon begin utilizing TSA Touchless ID at its security checkpoints, meaning your identify will be checked and verified using a facial scan.
According to the Dallas Morning News, this service will be available for travelers who are enrolled in the Transportation Security Administration’s PreCheck program. Upon entering the Touchless ID lane, your identity will be verified with a biometric scan of your, face with no need to present a driver’s license or passport.
In order to participate in the program, you must have a Known Traveler Number, you need to have a valid passport, and you must opt in to Touchless ID on your participating airline’s profile or at check-in.
The TSA did not specify when the service is set to begin at Love Field, though did reveal Touchless ID will be implemented in 65 airports around the country by this spring. It is already available at DFW International.
