When you’re traveling with a big group of people, it sometimes can be difficult to find somewhere to eat in the airport that would satisfy everyone’s cravings.
It could be 7am and someone wants a hamburger. It could be 9pm and pancakes sound amazing.
Fear not hungry traveler if you happen to be flying out of Love Field, because the airport will soon become the first airport in the world to contain a combination Applebee’s and IHOP.
The home of the first-ever combination Applebee’s and IHOP is a distinction that belongs to the city of Seguin, but as far as our research goes Love Field is home to the second, and the only airport where one is standing.
According to WFAA, the restaurant opened TODAY!
Patrick Carreno, director of aviation at Dallas Love Field, said in a release, “Being the first airport to offer a dual-branded Applebee’s and IHOP is a milestone for Dallas Love Field and for our passengers.
“This unique concept brings travelers more convenience and a dining experience they won’t find in another airport.”
The restaurant will be open from 6 a.m. to the last daily scheduled departure flight.
