The secret world of UC Berkeley's Internet famous peregrine falcons

Roughly 300 feet above the roaming students and faculty members, on top of the school's famous bell tower are Annie and Grinnell, Berkeley's hottest couple. The two peregrine falcons have lived atop the Campanile since 2016.

In order to keep a closer eye on the pair and observe them, scientists installed a couple of webcams up there – thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign.

Now the public has a chance to follow their lives.

Annie and Grinnell have become Internet famous, with over 8,000 Instagram followers from across the globe. So why'd they choose a loud bell tower in the middle of Berkeley? What have ornithologists and scientists observing Annie and Grinnell learned about them since they landed here?
