
An eruption of gun violence in and around Pittsburgh: six people shot in less than ten hours.
The most recent incident happened around 3 a.m. near the South Side. A man was sent to a hospital with a head wound. He's in stable condition.
Two men were shot around 10:30 p.m. during a large fight outside Children’s Hospital. One was shot multiple times and is in critical condition. The other man is stable.
At 8:15 p.m. a man was shot in the lower body in the 2200 block of East Hills Drive.
Around 6:20 p.m., a six-year-old girl was shot in the abdomen in Homewood. Police found her inside an SUV in the 7100 block of Frankstown Avenue. The girl is in critical condition.
And yet another shooting around 9:45 p.m. in the 1400 block of Walnut Street in Wilkinsburg. A 15-year-old was wounded in a vehicle. His injuries are not life-threatening.
