Allegheny County Police are investigating a shooting that took place in Penn Hills Tuesday morning.
County 911 was notified of a shooting on Mount Carmel Road just after 10:30am.
According to police, a 24-year-old man working on a landscaping crew was shot multiple times and was killed.
Police say witnesses describe the suspect as a Black male wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans. Witnesses say he fled the scene in the direction of Mount Carmel cemetery.
