LANCASTER (CNS) - A 15-year-old girl was reported missing after last being seen in Lancaster, authorities said Friday.
Melanie Izabella Cardenas was last seen at around 8 a.m. Thursday on the 44700 block of 32nd Street West, according to the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
Melanie is Latina, 5 feet tall, weighs 100 pounds, has brown shoulder length hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray sweater, blue pants, white shoes and was carrying a red backpack.
Anyone who has seen Melanie or knows of her whereabouts was asked to call the Lancaster Sheriffs' Station's detective bureau at 661-948-8466. Anonymous calls can be made to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or information sent to lacrimestoppers.org.
