SAN PEDRO, LOS ANGELES (KNX) — At least seven people were injured after shots erupted Sunday at a park in the San Pedro neighborhood of Los Angeles City, where a car show was reportedly taking place.
In a tweet, the L.A. Police Department said the shooting occurred around 3:50 p.m. at Peck Park. The department said there was no concern about an ongoing active shooter situation but did not offer any more information.
The L.A. Fire Department said the shooting occurred near a car show and that gunfire wounded at least three people, two of whom were in critical condition. The fire department said that at least seven people were hurt and rushed to hospitals by first responders.
