LOS ANGELES (KNX) — An Arcadia Police Department officer and two other people were shot on the 2500 block of Greenfield Avenue in Arcadia.
Local authorities along with a SWAT team were seen outside the home where the shooting took place.
According to the L.A. Sheriff's Department, the officer responded to a call at a residence when the suspect began firing.
The suspect reportedly barricaded inside a home near the
shooting location, prompting authorities to evacuate nearby residences.
As of 7:20 P.M. authorities were attempting to negotiate a surrender with the suspect.
All three of the victims have been rushed to a local hospital.
