HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (KNX) – Store employees inside a Huntington Beach jewelry store fought off a group of suspects in a smash-and-grab Sunday.

Security footage posted on Princess Bride Diamonds’ Instagram story shows the hooded suspects walking into the store at Bella Terra before pulling out hammers.
Not even seconds after the suspects break the display case, the employees sprung into action.
Two employees were caught punching and kicking the suspects. One of the employees was seen charging toward the suspects, carrying a chair. They then struck one of the thieves with the chair. Eventually, the group ran out of the store.
In a post on their Instagram story, the store wrote “Fortunately, (the suspects) were not able to get anything thanks to our awesome team.”
The store added it would be closed the next four days and would be open by appointment only.
There were no reported injuries.
