As we look back on 2022, we are reminded of the incredible young people doing extraordinary things in our Southern California community.

Here are some inspiring stories that earned the title KNX Hero of the Week this past year.

An extraordinary high school senior from Pacific Palisades is an athlete, a volunteer, and a teacher of financial literacy! 18 year-old Luke Shuman excels both inside and outside of the classroom. Listen to the story above.

This incredible group of high school students in Orange County are promoting inclusiveness, while addressing mental health. They are led by Club President Christina Diep, and their latest outreach project is shining some love on the LGBTQ community! Listen to the story above.

Compassion can be felt at any age. 3rd-grader Sloane Hu felt the urge to help the homeless during the pandemic, and she wanted to make a difference. So, she spearheaded a couple of projects - and she's now become a leader in her community! Listen to the story above.
