LENNOX (CNS) - An 86-year-old woman who suffers from hypertension went missing Monday, and authorities sought the public's help to find her.

Shirley Gertrude Hutson was last seen around 9 a.m. Monday in the 10500 block of Grevillea Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

She is described as white, 5-foot-5 and 100 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink sweatshirt and blue pants.

According to the sheriff's department, Hutson's family is concerned about her well-being because of her medical condition.

Anyone with information regarding Hutson's whereabouts was urged to contact the Sheriff's Homicide Bureau Missing Persons Detail at 323-890-5500. Tipsters who choose to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 800-222- 8477.
