Man found dead in Glassell Park garage identified

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A 62-year old man who was found dead inside a Glassell Park garage was identified Tuesday.

Two men walked into the Los Angeles Police Department's Northeast Station at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at 3353 San Fernando Road and told officers that there was a man's body inside a garage, according to a dispatcher at the LAPD's Operations Center.

The men told police the body was at 2751 W. Avenue 31, just south of the Glendale (2) Freeway, the dispatcher said.

The victim was identified as Enrico Eugenio by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office. His city of residence was not immediately known.

Officers went to the garage and found Eugenio, who suffered from blunt force trauma and firefighters pronounced him dead at the scene, according to the dispatcher.

The two men who reported the dead body were later arrested.
