GARDENA (CNS) - Authorities are asking the public for help locating an autistic 31-year-old man with the mental capacity of a 6-year-old who went missing in Gardena.
Martel Ray Burnett was last seen Monday leaving his home in the 14500 block of Haas Street, the Gardena Police Department reported.
Burnett was last seen wearing a white shirt, gray pajama pants and Nike sandals. Police said he left his home without any money or a cell phone. He does not know anyone in the area, is known to ride local bus lines and is attracted to shopping centers.
Gardena police urged anyone with information regarding Burnett's whereabouts to call them at 310-323-7911.
