LAKEWOOD (CNS) - A motorcyclist was killed and two people were rushed to a trauma center from a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning on the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway in Lakewood, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 3:20 a.m. on the southbound freeway, just north of South Street, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Paramedics dispatched to the location at 3:19 a.m.
pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene and rushed two people to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, according to a county fire department dispatcher.
The vehicle overturned when it struck the motorcyclist, who was down in the roadway, he said.
There was no other information available.
