
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. (KNX) – The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health is set to issue a new health order, which would allow vaccinated people to take off their masks indoors at places that check for proof of vaccination.

L.A. County Supervisor Janice Hahn, who serves the 4th District, made the announcement on Twitter Tuesday afternoon.
Supervisor Hahn tweeted that the new order “looks like it will take effect Friday.”
The department has not issued any public statement at this time.
Supervisor Kathryn Barger, who represents the 5th District, tweeted the new order would be "another step towards living with COVID-19 in balanced way."
This comes almost a week after L.A. County’s outdoor mask requirement was lifted.
