
LOS ANGELES (KNX) - Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department shot and killed a person in Koreatown Thursday morning.

It happened around 9 a.m. near West 8th and South Berendo streets, according to KABC.
The department said officers responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.
A handgun was also found at the scene.
The victim was described as a man in his 30s, City News Service reported. His identity has not been revealed.
