Two dead, five injured following shooting in Willowbrook

WILLIOWBROOK, Calif. (KNX) – A shooting in the Willowbrook community on Sunday left two people, including a 17-year-old boy, dead and five injured.

The shooting occurred in the 1200 block of Blakley Avenue, near East 122nd Street around 3 p.m., Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Tracy Koerner said.

Deputies said a 17-year-old and 40-year-old man died at the scene after they were shot in the torso. On Monday, the coroner's office identified the victims as Devin Pugh of Downey and Timothy Ford Sr of Moreno Valley.

Four male victims were taken to the hospital, KABC reported.
Three had minor injuries while one was in critical condition.

Officials said a female victim drove herself to the hospital.

It’s unclear what led to the shooting; however, those living in the area told CBS L.A. that a motorcycle club meets in the area every Sunday and that the club was meeting at the time of the shooting. Deputies have not confirmed this.

Information surrounding suspects have not been made available at this time.
