Arnold Schwarzenegger has a message for hate groups

Los Angeles (KNX) - On the heels of hate-fueled crimes in Los Angeles, Arnold Schwarzenegger posted a YouTube video in which he urges anti-Semites and other discriminatory groups to stop spreading hate and to choose a better path forward.

LISTEN:

In the video, Arnold calls out anyone who believes in conspiracies about Jewish people or any other groups. But rather than a combative or accusatory tone, the former California governor opted for a more tactful approach saying, "I can understand how people can fall into the trap of prejudice and hate. Whether you grew up surrounded by hate or get sucked in by some big tech algorithms that push you to the extreme."

He cautions that a life driven by hate "Might make you feel empowered for a while but eventually consumes whatever vessel it fuels; it breaks you. It's the path of the weak."

Schwarzenegger made headlines last year for visiting the Auschwitz concentration camp and reckoning with his father's Nazi past. He calls upon that experience to make his point.
