Police obtained a search and arrest warrant for Green after identifying probable cause, and served it just before 8 p.m. on the 1000 block of Power Ave. in Pittsburg.

Green has been charged with homicide, possession of a weapon, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

This comes just after the identity of the man fatally shot was confirmed by San Francisco Medical Examiner's Office in an email to KCBS Radio Friday morning.

Police responded to a shooting on a Muni train between the Forest Hills and Castro stations on Wednesday just before 10 a.m., as previously reported by KCBS Radio.

One victim, a 70-year-old man, was transported to a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries while the other, Nesta Bowen, 27, died at the scene.

Bowen was born in Oakland but grew up in Stockton, Bowen’s father, George Bowen, told the San Francisco Chronicle on Thursday. His mother passed away four years ago from cancer.

Bowen was passionate about making music. His parents were both involved in the music scene and he followed suit, working as a producer and rapper.

He also took graphic art classes and was most recently employed at the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department, the paper reported.
