DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - It's looking like Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott's absence will be limited to just one game, as coach Mike McCarthy appeared to indicate that his star quarterback will play against the Broncos in Week 9 after he sat out the team's 20-16 win over the Vikings on Sunday night.

McCarthy said Monday that Prescott would likely be limited in Wednesday's practice, and if everything goes well, he'll be "full-go" on Thursday.
McCarthy added that associate athletic trainer Britt Brown informed him that Prescott "had a really good day" of rehab work.
Cowboys backup quarterback Cooper Rush played admirably in Prescott's absence, but the Cowboys starter likely won't be held out another week unless he suffers some sort of set back in this week's practices.
Prescott nearly played vs. Minnesota and looked very good in his pregame workout.
"Obviously, we were optimistic about Dak last week, (and we're) even more optimistic about him this week," Stephen Jones said Monday on 105.3 The Fan. "The world got to see firsthand how he was moving around last night, and (we) feel good about it."
