Introducing the lovely Dede—a 4-year-old female Pittie mix who is looking for her forever home at the SPCA of Texas. This friendly lady loves making new pals! Short walks, tasty treats, and snuggling in soft blankets are her absolute favorites. Dede dreams of a home where she can be showered with love and attention. Will you be the one to meet her today? Have kids? Bring them along! Dede welcomes young companions with open paws. As a calmer lady herself, she thrives in a peaceful environment, perfect for those delightful naps! What about other dogs? Dede has met some furry friends at the shelter and got along just fine. While she may be a bit uncertain at first, she would appreciate a meet-and-greet with any potential canine housemates before heading home together. However, it's not mandatory—just a nice-to-have! Don't miss the chance to meet this charming lady and give her the forever home she deserves. Dede is ready to bring joy and warmth to your life! You can meet DeDe any day between noon and 6 p.m. at the SPCA of Texas' Dallas Animal Care Center located at 2400 Lone Star Dr.

Royalty is a beautiful three year, three-month-old female Rottweiler mix with the shiniest black coat you’ve ever seen! She had a rough start when she came in to SPCA of Texas. Royalty had been a stray for a few months and her nails were terribly overgrown and causing her to limp. Royalty’s owner was contacted, but she did not want to reclaim her. Royalty is good with other dogs and has enjoyed play groups at the shelter. She’s also really great with people. She loves going for walks—just show her the leash and Royalty is ready to go! Royalty is a big bundle of love—all 86 pounds of her! And she’s eager to share that love with her forever family. The Dallas Animal Care Center, located at 2400 Lone Star Drive, is open to the public seven days a week from Noon to 6 p.m. Appointments are required for you to meet Royalty. Please visit her profile on the SPCA of Texas website to learn more about her and make an appointment here. Click on the “Make an Appointment” button and Royalty’s team will set everything up from there. Through the end of July, all adult animal adoptions—animals six months and older, which includes Royalty—are only $25 at the SPCA of Texas’ Dallas Animal Care Center and the Ellis County Animal Care Center. Just like all pets at the SPCA of Texas, Royalty has been spayed, microchipped and has had all her age-appropriate vaccines.
