For the second time in less than two weeks, a body has been recovered from White Rock lake.
At around 11 on Thursday morning, someone noticed the body floating in the water and called 911. The body was recovered near Garland Road and East Lawther roads, not far from the Arboretum.
Police are not releasing any other details at this time like a name and cause of death.
Late last month, a body was found face-down in the water near the spillway. That person’s identity has not been released, but medical examiners say the body was that of a female who had suffered no obvious signs of trauma.
The investigation into both continues.
