Lawyers for retired American Airlines flight attendant Kimberly Goesling are seeking a new trial.

Last week, a civil jury found that while Goesling was sexually assaulted during a business trip to Germany, the airline was not liable for any damages.

Attorney Rob Miller claims in his filing that as part of the jurors' instructions, American Executive Brett Hooyerink would not be liable if he had no reason to believe that Chef Mark Sargeant would assault Goesling.

Miller says that's an instruction that was not approved by the court.

Thus, Miller is asking that the verdict be set aside and a new trial be held.
