Police in Fort Worth needs your help in finding the driver who hit and killed a man in a wheelchair at around 1:00 a.m. on Friday morning.

"A man that was in a wheelchair was trying to cross the street at the intersection of Evans and East Seminary when a vehicle, that we're going to call the suspect vehicle, was driving on Seminary and actually struck the victim," Ofc. Daniel Segura, a spokesman for the Fort Worth Police Department said.

The man, identified as William Russell, 56, of Houston, was rushed to JPS Hospital, where he died of his injuries.

The driver of the car that hit Russell never stopped.

"They just hit the victim, and they kept on going," Ofc. Segura said.

All investigators have is a blurry image of the vehicle that hit Russell.

"All that we have is that it's a silver-colored vehicle," Segura said. "It looks like a sedan, maybe a four-door."
