The Dallas Mavericks are now the first North Texas sports team to require COVID-19 vaccinations for fans at the American Airlines Center or show proof of a negative test before entry.
On Ask the Expert, Chris Arnold with 105.3 the Fan and Emcee for the Mavs joined KRLD's Afternoon News to discuss the new requirements.
Fans will still be required to wear a mask throughout the game, except when they are actively eating or drinking, regardless of their COVID-19 vaccination status.
Beginning Friday, the Mavs will offer fans the option to upload their proof of vaccination and negative tests at MavsCheckin.com. Fans are also permitted to bring a printed or digital copy of their documents to the AAC.
