The Rockets are adding second-year guard Kevin Porter Jr. and rookie forward K.J. Martin to the mix after the All-Star break.
Both players are being recalled from the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and can begin practicing with the Rockets on Wednesday, according to Jonathan Feigen at the Houston Chronicle.
Porter, a 2019 first-round pick who the Rockets acquired earlier this season from the Cleveland Cavaliers for a heavily protected second-round pick, led the G League in scoring during the regular season (24.1 points).
Porter was also second in assists (7.3) and added 6.5 rebounds per game.

The Athletic's Kelly Iko wrote last month about the Rockets' plan to convert Porter into a point guard. The Rockets see similarities in Porter and James Harden: both left-handed with excellent ball-handling skills and upper body strength.
"Harden’s career arc evolved from an off-ball shooting guard to a player whose best work was done with the ball in his hands, allowing him the freedom and space to operate as a primary playmaker. Sources say Silas envisions a similar role for Porter with the second unit," Iko wrote. "Silas and his coaching staff see Porter as a point guard, different from the shooting guard/small forward role he played last season with the Cavaliers."
Rockets general manager Rafael Stone told the Chronicle the plan was always for Porter to play his way into game shape and rejoin the Rockets during the All-Star break.
Martin, a second-round pick in last year's draft, averaged 19.4 points and 12.4 rebounds in 10 games for the Vipers. He also added 1.9 assists and 1.9 blocked shots per game.
Martin dealt with a sprained ankle, but Stone said the rookie should be back to 100 percent.
The Rockets return from the All-Star break on the road Thursday against the Sacramento Kings.
