HOUSTON (Sports Radio 610) - The Houston Texans reportedly added a pair of veterans on Monday afternoon, when they agreed to terms with free-agent wideout Andre Roberts and free-agent linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill.
The deal for Roberts, which spans two years and is worth up to $5.95 million was first reported by NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Roberts, who spent the last two seasons with the Buffalo Bills, managed just seven catches on 12 targets and no touchdowns from breakout star quarterback Josh Allen.
The best seasons on Roberts 11-year career came in 2012 with the Arizona Cardinals, when he hauled in 64 catches on 114 targets for 759 yards and five touchdowns.
Grugier-Hill, who spent last season with the Miami Dolphins, will be coming to Houston on a 1-year deal worth up to $3.25 million.
Before his time in Miami, Grugier-Hill spent four seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he became known as one of the premier pass coverage linebackers in the NFL.
Grugier-Hill was originally drafted by the New England Patriots, and new Texans GM Nick Caserio.
