The Washington Commanders had just held on to an improbable 12-7 win on Thursday night in Chicago, but the off-the-field storylines came creeping into full view yet again.
As Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr., who scored his first NFL touchdown in his second game since returning from suffering multiple gunshot wounds, was speaking to the Amazon postgame show some fans had a familiar three-word message for Commanders owner Daniel Snyder.
Live coverage of the Commanders is on now here:

"Sell the team! Sell the team! Sell the team!" echoed from a group of fans still in an emptying Soldier Field could be heard on the broadcast.
The chants were loud enough for Richard Sherman to ask Robinson if the outside noise around the team, referencing the fans' chant, had impacted the team. The running back said it was their job to "silence the noise and focus on getting better” each day.
The chanting fans come after Amazon broadcaster Al Michaels made a similar point for those watching at home.
"Just my feeling. I think what the league would love is for Snyder to sell the team,” Michaels said during the 4th quarter.
In the end, Snyder's team was victorious. But the vibes – both on and off the field – around the Commanders left much to be desired.
