The Commanders have already interviewed Pat Shurmur for the job and will interview Ken Zampese for the position on Wednesday. Zampese has been Washington's quarterbacks coach since 2020.

Prior to joining Ron Rivera's staff, Zampese, 55, worked as a quality control analyst at Florida (2019), offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Legends AAF franchise (2019), QBs coach for the Cleveland Browns (2018), and offensive coordinator (2016-2017) and QBs coach (2003-2015) with the Cincinnati Bengals.

They have requested to interview Atlanta Falcons quarterbacks coach Charles London and Dolphins associate head coach and running backs coach Eric Studesville.

Rivera is looking to replace Scott Turner who was fired after three seasons as the Washington offensive coordinator after the season.
