What does the 2023 NBA Draft have in store for us? Well, Victor Wembanyama is going to be the first overall pick to the San Antonio Spurs and the 7-foot-4 Frenchmen could be a massive star in the league with his length, shooting ability and all-around absurd size on the 92 feet by 49 feet of hardwood.

To take a look at the class ahead of Thursday's draft – take a walk down memory lane to some of the ACC glory days and talk great bucket-getters in basketball history – Kevin Sheehan brought Randolph Childress, then of Wake Forest and now at ESPN, to talk about the NBA Draft and also a little about who the Wizards might like to see fall to them at No. 8.

Some of the names that Childress linked to the Wizards were Duke's Dereck Lively II - for his shooting ability for a guy his size and his defense and rebounding ability – and Indiana's Jalen Hood-Schifino – who can be special and could be really, really elite with his "gamer" mentality and good court vision.

There was also some talk about another guy who has been linked with Washington – who will definitely be a Top 10 pick in the draft – is Arkansas guard Anthony Black. Take a listen to it all on the player above.
